Please, Mr. Panda and Thank You, Mr Panda by Steve Antony

Hello Children,

After reading Mrs. Mitzman’s Mindful Monday blog about Empathy, I thought about these two books and how important it is to say please and thank you.

The stories are quite a funny way of showing you how important it is to be polite and to have good manners.  Who you think Mr. Panda will be quick to share  his doughnuts or anything else with?  Why do you think that is?  Do you always remember to say please?  Try really hard today to say please whenever you ask for something.  The more you remember to say it the quicker it turns into a really good habit.

What about saying thank you?  Why is showing your appreciation when someone has done something for you important?  How does it make you feel when someone says thank you to you?  It makes me feel good that I’ve done something nice for someone.  Here’s a song by one of our favourite song channels.  It’s a very catchy tune.

Until next time, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.

Take care, stay safe,
