This week at nursery

Hi Everyone!

What a changeable week it has been weather wise! From warm sunshine to gusty winds and heavy rain – we’ve had it all but it has not stopped us learning! We have been reading the book ‘The Train Ride’ listening to the story and having our own train journeys up in the woods at Mini Explorers.  In our wet weather suits we were outside on our trains, looking out the window and saw lots of things – real and imaginary!

Mrs Shahzad came into class and outside we watched her paint Mrs Howe’s hand with Henna like she painted her own hands to celebrate Eid last week. We had a go at painting our own hands- what fun! In the art corner we have also made some animal hand prints and some beautiful blossom trees . We always have fun outside if its sunny or raining – the rain did our plants good, but we were surprised to see our sunflowers are not growing very well – or at all! But we’ll keep watching and hope they decide to grow!

Until we see each next week, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.

Take care, stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
