We made it to half term! What a lovely week we have had. We have been making squishy clouds and rain drops during Fiddly Fingers and at the craft table and outside we had a go at making a model of a rain cloud. We put water in a jar and shaving foam on top then carefully using a pipette added some food colouring and watched the effect – it was like a rain cloud!
In Maths this week we have been matching number groups and we did so well! We counted if there were 5 objects on one side and 7 on another – they were different amounts – and we tried to make them the same. Mrs Howe said we were doing such good thinking working it out!
On Friday we read one of our FAVOURITE books ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and then we went on a REAL bear hunt in the woods and we found one!!! As it was the last day before half term and a lovely sunny day we also went up into the big playground and had lots of fun! We rolled down hills (even the grown-ups had a go although there is no photographic evidence of this!) and we got to have a go on the playground equipment. There are lots of pictures as we thought you’d like to see how much fun we had!This-week-at-Nursery-28.05.21.pdf (27 downloads)
Until we see you again, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.
Take care, stay safe and have a lovely half term!
