How close are we to the end of term?! But the learning and the fun hasn’t stopped! This week we have been looking at ladybirds. For Literacy we have been reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ by Julia Donaldson – and we had a go at Chinese Whispers in class with often quite amusing results! Have a go at home – its such fun! Outside we have been carrying on with our bug hunts and managed to find a few little ladybirds – did you know a group of ladybirds is called – a loveliness of ladybirds! We even found some tiny frogs in the pond up in the woods -we have seen them go from tadpoles to frogs – how amazing!!
We have been revising our numbers in Maths – can we make the shape of the number with our ‘magic fingers’ in the air and can we do 6 claps, 5 stops, 19 blinks – continuing carefully for each action?!
We have had some busy creative bees at the Creation Station and seen some amazing pictures and creations. We’re sad to say only one more week in Nursery . . . . we’re not sure where the time has gone.This-week-at-nursery-09.07.21.pdf (19 downloads)
Until next time, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.
Take care, stay safe and see you soon!
