This week at nursery and home

Hello Nursery!

What a fun week we’ve had – and we were so happy to get back in the classroom on Tuesday! We hope you’ve had a lovely week too and enjoyed some of the milder weather?

We have been busy making our worry dolls – do you like the picture of some of them? We have reading about Winter and practicing our phonics sound – we turned it into a game where we had to cross the river and decide if they were ‘ch’ or ‘sh’ sounds and those that weren’t got put back in the river! We have enjoyed the milder weather getting outside to play – we loved getting back onto the bikes and playing with water and bubbles – we cleaned the dinosaurs outside!

Our Dinosaurs escaped!!!

On Thursday am Nursery were told that some dinosaurs had escaped from the classroom! Oh No!! We had to put our green suits and wellies on to go find them as  Mrs Mitzman had heard a rumour from Stuart ( The dinosaur who lives in her shed in the Woods at school ) that they decided to visit him. So we went up into the woods to find them – Luckily we found all 9!! Did you know that 9 was our number of the week?!? It was very lucky that we had been practicing how to count up to 9 this week!

Please click here to see the pictures from our adventures and there are two picture puzzles for you too! Dinosaur-wander-in-the-woods.pdf (35 downloads)

Please keep sending in emails and pictures about what you are up to at home – we love hearing about what you are up to!

Until next time, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.

Take care and stay safe,

The Nursery Team
