You and Me, Little Bear by Martin Waddell

Hi Children,

You And Me, Little Bear by Martin Waddell

You and Me, Little Bear read by Mrs Howe

Today’s story is You and Me, Little Bear.  Martin Waddell writes a lot of books, can you think of others he’s written?  There are a few we read all the time in Nursery.  I really like this series, they’re very cosy stories I think.  When I read them they make me feel very relaxed, mellow, sleepy and warm inside.  It makes me feel just like when the chimes ring during Jigsaw time.  The characters in the story are so kind to each other, helping each other and turning things that might not always be fun to do like tidying up, into a  game.   Have you shown your grown ups what we do at Nursery when it’s tidying up time?  I’ve got the link to the song below, play it for them when it’s tidying up time and show them how fast you can go!

Mission Impossible theme tune

What other  helpful things could you do at your house?  Could you practice getting your clothes on or ready for bed and use a timer?  See if you can beat your best time.    Have a think about all the things you could turn into a game.  Could you race your brothers or sisters to see who can get ready for the bath or get ready for dinner  quickest?  I bet there are a lot of things you can do.  Remember to write in and tell us all about it!

Enjoy!  Until then, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your brains on for good learning.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Howe
