At Merry Hill we want all of our children to become healthy, independent and responsible members of society.
We believe that PSHE is vital in helping our pupils to develop their understanding of themselves and others, self-esteem and how to make healthy choices. Our aim is for all our children to gain a sense of self and play a positive role in contributing to school life and the wider community.
Growth Mindset
We launched an exciting and new initiative within our school which is designed to improve our learning and attitudes in life through adopting the principles of Growth Mindset. The aim is to encourage ourselves to embrace a challenge and to remain positive even when something becomes difficult.
For example – rather than say “I can’t do this” say “I can’t do this yet”
