Year 2 had a great time today at the University of Hertfordshire celebrating the Festival of Outdoor Education.
We took part in lots of different outdoor activities throughout the day.
Activities included -Fairy village making, Art like Goldsworthy, Den Building, Music of Nature, Sun Prints and Rope Ladders.

How to support at home
- Ask your child to tell you all about their day – can they describe how they were feeling throughout the day?
- Notice nature and natural things when out and about
- Listen to the natural sounds you can hear – are the sounds different depending on what time of day you listen?
- Make your own natural sculpture like Andy Goldsworthy – remember to take a photograph of it.
