This week Year 2 have been having a lyrical time practising some magical music with Mrs Goodwin.
We have been learning some key words in music, such as dynamics, tempo and timbre, and have been using these words to describe Saint Saen’s Carnival of the Animals. After listening to his Aquarium movement our focus has been on producing our own magical musical aquarium compositions and we have enjoyed imagining what the rippling waters or the calm swimming fish might sound like.
After some practice in our small orchestras, we all came together as one big orchestra and performed our aquarium music.
