This week in Year 1 we have been loving our English lessons. Earlier this week we received a letter from Mr.Bear. He asked for our help to write a different story about animals. During the next few weeks we will be changing the story as a class and then writing our own stories with our individual ideas.
How to support writing at home:
Practice writing the beginning of a story using ‘Once upon a time’ to start.
Practice writing sentences with a capital letter and full stop.
Read ‘Peace at Last’ on YouTube and familiarise yourself with the book.
