British Values

This week we have been voting in Lions and Panthers, which has been new for many of us. We used ballot sheets in our classroom voting stations to decide which book to read in the morning and which dance we want to do for our wake and shake.  We have been discussing how important it is to listen to and respect other people’s opinions and values, which is something we all do in the UK.

We also talked about how the greater number of votes was the winner and the votes with the fewest would be the runner up.  We used the zones of regulation to talk about the excitement, and  disappointment which can come with voting.

How you can help at home:

Have a family vote for what to have for dinner or what film to watch at the weekend.
