As part of our ‘dig a little deeper’ topic curriculum we have been learning about significant people in history.
This week Year 1 discovered the work of Mary Anning. A paleontologist and fossil collector who discovered some of the most significant geological finds in history!
Today it was our turn to become paleontologists. We worked carefully and calmly to uncover facts about Marry Anning and even discovered some fossils!
We look forward to learning about more significant people and their achievements in the next couple of weeks.
How you can help at home:
Become a paleontologist in your back garden or local park. All you need is a paintbrush! Carefully and calmly brush around, you may make a discovery!
