Hello Everyone!
What a busy half term you have had. We loved hearing all the things you got up to over half term – it seems lots of dinosaurs were seen! We have been talking about the Platinum Jubilee this week and making bunting to decorate the classroom – perhaps you’ve seen some of it at drop off/collection? Doesn’t it look good?! We have made crowns and had a go at marching like soldiers in the Changing of the Guard Parade.
It Literacy we have been reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ by Julia Donaldson and had our own go at Chinese Whispers – which the children have renamed ‘Ladybird Whispers’! Have a go at home – it’s such a fun game and good for practicing our listening skills. In maths we have also been looking at ladybirds while talking about symmetry. We have all been working on writing our names to hang on our writing tree – we can’t wait to share the progress the children have made. Amazing work!
Do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.
Take care, stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
Mrs Howe, Mrs Bain, Mrs Mitzman, Mrs Hill and Mrs Bence.
