This week in Nursery . . .

Hello Everyone!

What a lovely day we had last Friday – how fabulous was sports day?!?! We all had lots of fun and we hope you all enjoyed it too!

This week we had a go with our throwing skills up in the big playground where we practised throwing bean bags into hoops and tried to balance the beanbags while we moved around.  We also made shapes – with lolly sticks and  even with our bodies. You could try this at home with Lego,  sticks,  spaghetti – you can try with almost everything! We have been enjoying our story Superworm and role playing it.  We made worms by threading pasta onto ribbon and then we tried them out as belts – just like Superworm. In the sandpit there was hidden treasure to find – we enjoyed finding it –  unlike Superworm!

We’ve also had lots of fun with messy play- with shaving foam and really bubbly water. We were also given a really big box and the children had to decide what they could create – it was a Robot, a hiding place,  a cave . .  We loved seeing their imaginations at work!

Until next time, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.

Take care, stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
