This week in Nursery

Hi everyone,

This week we have been listening to a non fiction book called Autumn. This started a conversation about the seasons, we discussed the differences in temperature, weather and clothing for each season.  Maybe you could continue with these conversations at home?  Make a game of it, ask them to guess the seasons from the clues you give them,

Continuing on a discovery of learning about artists, we have been looking at Clarice Cliff.  We decorated paper plates in this style, using our fine motor skills to stick the  pre- cut shapes to the plate.  The Original Clarice Cliff Website - History, Museum, Events, Forum

Our PSHE topic this week is responsibility, we have been discussing our responsibilities in Nursery, particularly as they relate to our golden rules (being kind, looking after property, etc). Some of the children were even eager to take on the responsibility of sweeping leaves in the nursery garden.

Until next time, do good looking for adventures, clean your ears out for good listening and turn your noggins (brains) on for good learning.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Howe, Mrs Ogilvie-Jones, Mrs Mitzman,  Mrs Hill and Mrs Bence
