Lion class participated in a terrific book session yesterday. Zoe Willis and Laura Cohen came to see us to tell us about a new story… ‘We’re going to find the monster!’
We began by paying close attention to the story, learning the language and making predictions. The children then decorated their own monster masks, using a variety of colours to express their creativity. We then returned to the carpet to retell the story using actions. As a prop, we used our monster mask! The children came up with unique actions and had a great time roaring like a monster.
Finally, everybody received a copy of the book to go home and share with others.
