This week in Nursery…

We have been very busy this week, looking for signs of Spring finally arriving! Although it was still very cold in the mornings, we have noticed the changes in daylight and seeing a lovely blue sky while out in the forest.  We were able to see the early stages of buds growing on the trees, we found wild flowers growing in the field and daffodils blooming at the school entrance.  All of this new plant life growing around us has got us into a bit of a gardening mood!

As part of our English learning, we have looked at the story of Jasper’s Beanstalk. We have followed Jasper’s instructions of how to plant a seed and we are eagerly waiting for them to start growing! Why not look at the story of Jasper’s Beanstalk online- the children have loved telling the story using our class actions.     https://youtube.com/watch?v=QwrSEPddRlo&feature=shares

We have been taking good care of our seeds, making sure they get enough sunlight and water.

To add to our very busy week, we also had a great time celebrating World Book Day! We had the chance to listen to different stories read to us by Mr Reid, Ms Adams and all our adults in our class. It definitely was a very comfy and special occasion 😉.

Have a fantastic weekend!
